Scholarships at Suresh Gyan Vihar University that students can avail themselves include:

Acharya Purushottam Uttam Fellowship (Freeship) (Number of Seats: 25)

Under this scholarship, students at Suresh Gyan Vihar University are exempted from paying Tuition fees, exam fees, enrollment fees, books, lodging & boarding for the entire course of study. This scholarship is awarded to students in need, at BOM’s discretion and is continued only if the attendance maintained is more than 75%.

Shri Suresh Sharma Memorial Scholarship / Freeship (Number of Seats: 75)

Under this Suresh Gyan Vihar University Scholarships, students at the institute under this scheme will be exempted from paying Tuition fees, exam fees & enrollment fees provided the attendance maintained is more than 75%.

90% scholarship is also provided to girl students (provided they score more than 90%) and boy students (provided they score more than 95%) in 10+2 examinations

Shri Sunil Sharma Merit Partial Scholarship

50% exemption from tuition fee, for first-year students, provided they have 92.5% to 97.5% in the 10+2 exam from a recognized board.

40% exemption from tuition fee, for first-year students, provided they have 92.5% to 97.5% in 10+2 exams from a recognized board.

University President Scholarship

The Suresh Gyan Vihar University Scholarship Criteria for this is:

First-year students get a 20% exemption in the tuition fees provided they have 75% to 80% in 10+2 from a recognized board or come in the top 10% scorers in SGVUEE.

First-year students get a 10% exemption in the tuition fees provided they have 80% to 85% in 10+2 from a recognized board or come in the top 5% scorers in SGVUEE.

Dr. Sudhanshu Employee Welfare Scholarship/Freeship

Permanent Employees of Suresh Gyan Vihar University get a 50% scholarship on tuition fees for the entire year for higher studies like MCA/M.Sc./M.Tech.

50% scholarship in tuition fee for children of the SGVU’s permanent employees for the entire course of study.

Smt. Kamla Devi Gender Equality Scholarship

Under this Suresh Gyan Vihar University Scholarships, 20% scholarship to be awarded to all female applicants for all programs offered if less than 90% and more than 70% in 10+2 from a recognized board.

SGVUAA (Alumni Association) Scholarship

SGVU Alumni scholarship for higher studies like MCA and M.tech.

Jayprakash Narayan Scholarship

For the migrant students of Bihar on an SGVUEE Score basis for students of Bihar living under BCCS, and are the top 300 scorers in SGUVEE will be and have a minimum 60% in last qualifying exam and avail compulsory in-campus accommodation facility.

Dr Ambedkar SGVU Scholarship

If SC/ST/SBC/MBC/OBC-BPL category students score 60% marks in the last qualifying exam then they will get the Dr Ambedkar SGVU Scholarships.

SGVU Sports Scholarship

For the first year, sportsperson only who participated in the International games (Olympics / Commonwealth / World cup / Asiad games) / National Medalist (games should be prescribed by the Indian Olympic Association IOA) participated in last three years only & who fulfills the minimum criteria of the program, will be eligible.

#In addition to the above schemes, 50% of the tuition fee will be waived off for those students who lost their fathers while studying at SGVU (students have to apply along with a copy of the death certificate).
